О России старец Анатолий говорил: «Будет шторм, и русский корабль будет разбит. Но ведь и на щепках и обломках люди спасаются. Бог не оставит уповающих на Него. Надо всем каяться и молиться горячо. И явлено будет великое чудо Божие: все щепки и обломки волею Божией и силой Его соберутся и соединятся, и воссоздастся корабль во всей красе и пойдет путем, Богом предназначенным. Так это и будет, явное всем чудо».

Литургија је заједничко дело и молитва се на њој узноси саборно, тј. сви се верници скупа моле „једним устима и једним срцем“. Говори Господ: Јер гдје су два или три сабрана у име Моје, ондје сам и ја међу њима (Мт. 18, 20). По правилу свештеник не може служити литургију сам, с њим мора бити макар један човек.
