Дана 11. маја 2017. године у Храму Христа Спаситеља у Москви је под председавањем Његове Светости патријарха Московског и целе РУсије Кирила почело заседање Највишег Црквеног Савета Руске Православне Цркве.

На дан Спаљивања моштију Светог Саве светом архијерејском Литругијом којом је началствовао Митрополит загребачко-љубљански г. Порфирије прослављена је слава капеле при Српској православној општој гимназији „Кантакузина-Катарина Бранковић“ и Духовном центру у Загребу.

Поводом празника Светог Василија Острошког, храмовне славе Саборног храма у Никшићу, у четвртак 11. маја 2017, служено је свечано празнично бденије.

На предлог Његове Светости Патријарха српског г. Иринеја, Свети Архијерејски Синод Српске Православне Цркве донео је одлуку да, на основу члана 59. Устава Српске Православне Цркве, сазове Свети Архијерејски Сабор Српске Православне Цркве у његово редовно заседање.
