The latest version of the one of the world’s most popular computer games “Civilization” features among its nine new characters St. Tamar, the great 12th-13th century queen and military commander of Georgia. Georgia is now included as one of the nations-civilizations in “Civilization VI: Rise and Fall,” and any user can play as Queen Tamar, reports Jam News.

St. Tamar became the sole ruler of Georgia in 1184, reigning as king because she ruled not as a consort but as a monarch. She is remembered as a pious and holy woman, a builder of churches and monasteries, and a brilliant military commander.

“What makes a perfect monarch?” the game authors ask in the description of the new character.

“Wisdom and diplomacy? Farsightedness and good strategic skills? Many do not reach these standards, but Tamar, who ruled Georgia during its Golden Age, is one of the ideal rulers,” the description reads.

The motto of the Georgian civilization in the game is “Strength in Unity,” which is written on the Georgian coat of arms.

The Georgians in the game are a unique military unit—the soldiers are especially effective at waging battle in mountainous terrain. Moreover, the Georgians in the game can construct a unique fortress structure that has unique fortification properties.

In the introductory video, seen below, Queen Tamar is dressed the same as in frescoes preserved in Georgian churches. The video also features Georgian melodies and St. Tamar speaking in the Georgian language.

St. Basil’s Cathedral on Red Square, the famous symbol of Russia, can also be built in the game:
