At the same time that a massive fire raged at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, a fire broke out on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem—a holy site for Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

The fire occurred near Solomon’s Stables, also known as the Marwani Prayer Hall, at the corner where the southern and eastern walls meet, near the stairs to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, reports the Jerusalem Post.

“The fire broke out in the guard’s room outside the roof of the Marwani Prayer Hall,” reports the Wafa Palestinian News and Info Agency.

The fire was quickly extinguished, with no injuries or interior damage reported. The “fire brigade of the Islamic Waqf handled the matter successfully.”

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, though Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib, the Director General of the Jerusalem Waqf and the Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department has said it could have been started by children who were seen playing in the area.
