During his 55 years of service, Fr. Valery used his talents to faithfully shepherd the flock that God gave him. He was not only a builder of churches and structures - he was a builder of people’s souls.
When you came to him with all your problems and worries, he took your cares upon his shoulders and used his God-given power to free you from the burden of sin. Like every priest, he quietly co-suffered with you - his spiritual children.
He knew what was in your heart. But you probably never knew what was in HIS heart.
He felt something. Every time he gave a sermon, he tried to share that feeling with with us. He tried over 4,000 times ... but he could never truly articulate what he felt in his heart.
Then the Lord sent him a terrible illness. In 2015 he was diagnosed with ALS. For three years he watched his body become almost completely paralyzed. His time was running out. He was dying.
So he started to pray even harder. He begged the Lord to help him open his heart and share it with you - with all of us.
On March 30, 2018 - the Lord heard his prayer....... and Jesus Christ came to him in a dream. This is what he saw.
