Russian Orthodox actor Peter Mamonov, the star of the famous film “The Island” (Ostrov), in which he played the clairvoyant fool for Christ Fr. Anatoly, was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack today.
He is in serious condition in the ICU.
Mamonov is also a musician, and a message on his Facebook page notes that all of his upcoming concerts have been canceled.
“Pray for Peter’s health,” the message entreats.
