A church in the village of Arkhangelo (the Kargopol District, the Arkhangelsk Region) will be built without using nails.

"It is planned to build a church in old northern traditions without modern instruments, only with an axe. The cupola will be covered with small wooden boards," the press service of the Arkhangelsk Diocese reports.

The foundation for the future church was laid late in August. If the weather is fine, a blockhouse will be built soon.
