Barcelona, 4 February, 2013

The Rector of the Church of the Annunciation in Barcelona, Igumen Seraphim (Pavlov) has celebrated the first service for the newly-founded Orthodox community in Andorra. According to the website of the Diocese of Korsun, this took place on 27 January in St Julia’s Catholic Church in Sant Julia De Loria.

The next Liturgy will take place on 24 February. The community hopes that the priest will visit and celebrate regularly.

The initiative for Orthodox services in the Principality of Andorra comes from the Archbishop of Urgel, Joan Enric Vives i Sicilia, Co-Prince of Andorra, who suggested it to Bishop Nestor of Korsun.
