Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin considers the death of the businessman Boris Berezovsky as a reason for everybody to reflect on the vanity of material wealth at our meeting with God.

"We should remember that everyone will stand at the Lord's judgment, and we know from the Gospel that He will judge us both according to our deeds and also according to our confession of true faith in God, according to whether we lived according to the Gospel, if we prepared ourselves for our meeting with the real Christ, not with one "invented" or "edited" for our own comfort and sins," said the priest in answer to a question from a correspondent of Interfax-Religion.

"Now this man is standing before God. I don't know if he prepared for this meeting but all of us must remember it. Neither money, nor power, nor fame, nor intellect, nor good contacts will help at this meeting”, added the head of the Department for Relations between Church and Society.
