China sends humanitarian cargo to Red Cross offices in the Crimea

Moscow, May 14, 2015

48 metric tons (105,821.886 lbs) of humanitarian aid dispatched by the Red Cross Society of the People’s Republic of China to the Russia’s Red Cross regional offices have been unloaded at the Mineralnyye Vody airport from a Boeing 767, reports the Russian Federation’s Ministry for Emergency Situations on Thursday.

The Ministry has specified that the humanitarian cargo will be distributed among the Russian Red Cross regional offices in the Rostov region, the Republic of Crimea, and the city of Sevastopol.

Trucks from the Noginsk Rescue Centre of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry are scheduled to depart to the regional Red Cross offices on Thursday morning, reports Interfax.
