A Chapel in honor of St. Nicolas the Wonder-Worker near Erbek village of the Tuva Republic was consecrated on September 2 on the “Yamaltransstroy” company administration’s initiative; this company is carrying out construction of the “Kyzyl – Kuragino” railway line, reports Blagovest.info.

Bishop Theophan of Kyzyl and Tuva performed the consecration. The chapel stands at the entrance to the tent working area. Outwardly, it is an ordinary yurt (a nomad’s tent), but its furniture includes all the necessary things for celebration of services and worship.

After the St. Nicolas Chapel’s consecration, Bishop Theophan congratulated all those gathered and wished every success in construction of the site so important for the republic. He also blessed the clergy of his diocese to give spiritual guidance to the workers—inhabitants of the working camp near Erbek.
