He was tonsured into the Great Schema at St. Anthony’s Monastery just 6 days prior.

His brother, Elder Ephraim, a spiritual child of St. Joseph the Hesychast, founder of 17 monasteries in America and Canada, and spiritual father to thousands, reposed in the Lord late in the evening on December 7 last year.

Their mother, Gerontissa Theophano, also became a nun in 1963, being tonsured by her own son, Elder Ephraim. She reposed in the Lord on February 27, 1986 at the Monastery of the Archangel Michael on the Greek island of Thassos, a dependency of Philotheou Monastery on Mt. Athos.

St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Monastery is near Florence, AZ. About 70 to 80 miles from Phoenix.

Any idea where at in Arizona? I used to live in the Phoenix area. Sometimes I wonder if I've ever been "on top of" anybody at some point in my life.
