Pan-Orthodox Clergy retreat announced in California

Los Angeles, December 2, 2010

A pan-Orthodox clergy retreat has been announced for December 7–9, 2010 at the St. Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center in Dunlap, California (near Fresno), reports the official site of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Western American Diocese. Present at the retreat will be the following hierarchs of various Orthodox jurisdictions of California: His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos (Greek Orthodox Church), His Grace Bishop Joseph (Bulgarian Patriarchal Church), His Grace Archbishop Kyrill (Russian Orthodox Church Abroad), His Grace Bishop Maxim (Serbian Orthodox Church), and His Grace Bishop Benjamin (Orthodox Church in America).

The retreat, presented by Archimandrite Meletios Webber, Abbot of the St. John the Wonderworker Monastery of Manton, California (OCA), is entitled: "Physician Heal Thyself.” Orthodox Steps to Spiritual Transformation. Fr. Meletios will make a presentation on this subject, based upon the Gospel of St. Luke 4:23.
