Director of Chechnya's Federal Migration Service fired because of his daughter, gone to Syria for "jihad"

Moscow, November 22, 2013

The head of the Chechen republic Ramzan Kadyrov has announced the dismissal of the director of Chechnya's Federal Migration Service Asu Dudurkaev because his daughter is fighting in Syria on the side of militants.

"His own daughter is in the ranks of Wahhabis and bandits, who are shedding blood of civil residents and blowing up Muslim shrines in Syria. We had offered him help in his daughter's return but he said he would resolve this question. However, the daughter is still among the bandits," wrote R. Kadyrov in Instagram.

That's why, in his view, A. Dudurkaev, being leader of an important agency in Chechnya, "does not have the moral right to speak with his subordinates about morality, patriotism, and religion".

Moreover, as R. Kadyrov noted, complaints from residents of the republic have been filed about the director’s poor work.

He has informed that A. Dudurkaev "was given the suggestion to send in his resignation addressed to the higher authority, which has duly been done".
