The Ukrainian church officially accuses the country's authorities of eliminating their own people

Moscow, September 15, 2014

The Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church press service Vasily Anisimov believes the Ukrainian authorities are guilty of unleashing the war, reports Interfax-Religion.

"They don't love Ukrainians and don't sympathize with them. If they sympathized with them, they wouldn’t send them to die in Maidan. If they cared, they wouldn’t be so indifferent to those receiving bullets in their foreheads, they wouldn’t drive them into fraternal war in Donbass (the third mobilization during the year), they wouldn’t doom them to hungry, cold, poor existence, which, according to economists, we will face this winter," Anisimov said in his interview with the Radonezh Orthodox society website.

He confessed that when he listens to Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk's speeches, is always been afraid to hear "what a new trouble or foolishness he will invent for Ukraine."

According to UOC official, the greatest trouble of the Ukrainian Maidan authorities are too many leaders.

"There are too many Moseses. And all of them are ready to lead a tired people across the desert for forty years, to overcome many troubles invented by themselves, so that those who survive live in the promised European land. Their slogan: our children and grandchildren will live in Europe! And it is a lie again. We know our leaders pretty well. They all have houses, flats, millions of dollars, cars, factories and ships, they get medical help, study and go on holidays abroad. Some of them even live abroad and work in their districts through Skype," he said.

Anisimov believes that "if we want to join Europe, we must do at least something in a European way."

"Scotland holds a referendum on independence. Leaders of all parties, government leave London for Scotland to ask separatists not to separate. No one said that Scotland would be either English or deserted, no arrests, shelling, informational blockade, shooting, refugees or anti-terrorist operations. Evidently, the English love Scotland, since they don't level it to the ground," he said.
