Metropolitan Amvrosios: “Your children will be slaves of Muslims”

Athens, September 23, 2014

Metropolitan Amvrosios of Kalavryta and Aigialeia has spoken out against the “Anti-racist law” passed in Greece.

“With the entering into force of the anti-racist bill, all who talk about the motherland and patriotism will risk jail.

“A priest who will speak up against Jehovah’s Witnesses and other religions from the ambo, may be declared a racist and imprisoned,” said the hierarch, cited by AgionOros with the reference to Rua.gr (”Russian Athens”).

“Soon we will become aliens in our own home country. I do not know whether I will live to see these times, but your children will surely be slaves of Muslims. Greece is disappearing, faith is disappearing… Keep the flame of the motherland and faith. Globalization is not knocking at our doors any more – it has already entered our home,” he added.

When every "country" is simply an amalgamation of various people from everywhere, the construct of countries will be obsolete. The anti-Christ requires a one-world. As Saint Ignatii Brianchaninov said, these things must come about, "Do not try to stop it with your weak hand." If we manage individually to somehow retain our own Orthodoxy as this evil matures, we will have done well.

Real cultural diversity is one thing - the destructive, evil agenda of so-called "cultural diversity" in the name of global capitalism is quite another. I am glad these bishops are speaking out against Global Capitalist Political Correctness. Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, et.al. must UNITE against the global agenda which desires the destruction of all of them.

Such leaders of the Greek Orthodox Church bring unmitigated embarrassment and even shame to Greeks everywhere, who are sane and decent. There is no compassion, understanding, or tolerance for the reality that is a more heterogeneous country; possessed of ethnic, religious, and racial minorities poised to make Greece a better nation, an object to envy not pity as is the present condition! This so true. The koran is the complete opposite of the Word of God the Bible. islam allows or demands murder, thief, crimes against Christians and Jews, slavery, rape of young girls and much more demonic rituals. God's Word comes in the form of the Ten Commandments and Word of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

As a Jew I agree entirely with you. The minor exception that I have is your word "globalization". Phony feeble destructive political correctness would be more acutely descriptive. The world would benefit from "globalization" of the Eastern Orthodox religion's ideas or Jewish ones or Buddhist ones or Hindu ones. We can usually learn from other people's ideas. Sometimes we learn how vicious or harmful they are like Islam's (whose murderous rules reach back 1400 years). Even if we have a chance to hear and warn ourselves about any religion's dangers that can only help those who may (wish to) be blind about those philosophies. At least we will be on guard. Today we must guard ourselves about the dangers of Islam. The new Greek rule "outlaws" those warnings. Greeks will suffer. When that goes far enough Greek people will change their minds and the suicidal law.
