On Saturday, March 1, 2014, the Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Mother of God, "Softening of Evil Hearts", was to arrive at Sevastopol. The meeting of the shrine was to take place at 14.00 at St. Vladimir's Cathedral in the Chersonese. For the time of the stay of the wonder-working icon at St. Vladimir's Cathedral the admission to the territory of the "Chersonese- Tavrichesky" National reserve is free for veneration of the relic. The icon will be staying at the cathedral for 24 hours, reports the press service of the Sevastopol Deanery.
One of contemporary shrines of Great Rus is the "Softening of Evil Hearts", or "Seven Arrows" Wonder-Working Icon of the Holy Theotokos. This myrrh-streaming icon is kept in the village of Bachurino of the Moscow region, where with the blessing of Schema-Archimandrite Iliy (Nozdrin)—a well-known Optina Elder and confessor of Patriarch Kirill—a chapel was constructed for it.
The Wonder-Working Icon of the Queen of Heaven is arriving at Sevastopol with the blessing of the Church hierarchy and at the invitation of Orthodox Christians of the Crimea.
