Афон, Оптина… Люди, приходящие за советом и благословением, жизнь которых старец Илий направил, а то и защитил. «Надо стараться жить более отрешенно и размеренно. Больше трудитесь на земле – некогда будет скучать», – наставляет батюшка.

Христос – наш покой и наша истинная суббота. Потому апостол и пишет: «Для народа Божия еще остается субботство» (Евр. 4: 9). Заметим: апостол говорит о субботстве. Так что покой – суббота – не отменен, но он теперь во Христе, «ибо древнее прошло».

Как хочется поделиться сокровищем православной веры с теми, кто тебе дорог – с друзьями, с родными. И как нередко усилия привести кого-то в Церковь кажутся тщетными. Но по-настоящему оценить происходящие события можно только в перспективе скоротекущего времени.

Ступенями Великого Поста Господь ведет нас к узнаванию другой, новой, глубокой, молитвенной жизни. Жизни, полной благодарения, тишины, радости, сердечного мира, в которой каждый новый день пронизан ароматом Тайны Божественной Любви. Господь хочет, чтобы мы были включены в настоящую полноводную, благодатную духовную жизнь, которая начинается здесь и сейчас и простирается в Вечность!

We live in a time in which the degradation of words cannot be allowed, especially the meaning of the word unity, for the sake of some artificial and changing diplomatic mentality, which hides elements of intent and utilitarianism.

Now we are beginning our study of the Scriptures. Previously I was just teaching you about the Fathers, but now we’re going to be beginning an actual Bible study. I would like to start and end each lesson with a prayer.

У суботу треће недеље Великог поста, када наша Црква прославља Светог мученика Конона и Преподобног Марка Исповедника, Његово Преосвештенство Епископ шумадијски г. Јован служио је свету архијерејску Литургију у храму Свете Петке у Рогојевцу.

ЈУ „Културно-спортски центар“, Црквена општина Гацко, Сретењски манастир из Москве, и студио „Руски Цар“ Вас позивају на свечану изложбу фотографија „У сусрет Руском Цару. Романови – царско служење““.

У трећу недељу Великог поста – Крстопоклону недељу служена је света архијерејска Литургија у храму Св. Кирила и Методија у Јајинцима, којом је началствовао Његова Светост Патријарх српски Иринеј.

У трећу надељу Васкршњег поста (Крстопоклону) 19. марта 2017. године, благословен је почетак обнове храма Свете Великомученице Варваре у селу Кочела, недалеко од Требиња.

У Патријаршијској сали катедралног саборног ХрамаХриста Спаситеља, одржана је промоција књиге Његове Светости Патријарха Московског и све Русије Кирила „Чезните за дарима духа: О молитвеном делању и духовном расту“. У зборнику се налазе беседе Његове Светости Патријарха Кирила, које је изговорио током различитих година његовог пастирског служења, а које супосвећене молитви и духовном расту. Књига је објављена у оквиру Издавачке куће Московске патријаршије.
